Warming centre opened after Blackburn Hamlet gas line, water main break

Some Blackburn Hamlet residents affected by gas line and water main breaks on Friday were told to plan on going without those services until at least late at night.
In an interview shortly after 6 p.m., Innes Coun. Laura Dudas said she was waiting on an update from Enbridge about the status of gas line repairs. Once that work was completed, the City of Ottawa water services team would commence water valve repairs, and Enbridge would need to access every affected home to reconnect service.
