Wanted – someone to dismantle former HMCS Athabaskan

The federal government is looking for a company to dispose of the former HMCS Athabaskan.
The winning bidder will be required to prepare the ship for transfer, transfer the ship to an approved site, break it apart and demilitarize the controlled goods on board.
Bids are due Jan. 4, 2018.
A bidders’ conference will be held at DND facilities in Halifax Nova Scotia on Nov. 27.
