Vigil of light held steps away from site of crash that killed cyclist

In a circle around a freshly-painted ghost bike, about 50 members of the cycling community raised white lights into a drizzling sky on Friday to honour a man killed only a few metres away on the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway.
The informal vigil marked the passing of Junfeng Wu, 40, who died while cycling to work just before 7 a.m. on Dec. 7.
People gathered Friday near the site of the accident that claimed the life of Junfeng Wu on Dec. 7. He had been struck by a taxi van while cycling to work.
