Used German drones not for us, says Canadian Forces as negotiations with Canada set to start

The Canadian military isn’t involved in the proposed purchase of a used drone from Germany, sources say.
A federal government department, however, such as Transport Canada, could be the intended new buyer, sources added Tuesday. The aircraft could be used for testing.
The Associated Press reported that Germany is looking to sell a secondhand surveillance drone that has cost the country more than $823 million to Canada — without many core components it needs to fly.
