UPDATED: Lockdowns lifted in Cornwall

CORNWALL — Cornwall Community Police have given the all-clear on a lockdown that affected many schools and residents in the city’s core.
Every school in downtown Cornwall, as well as the Cornwall Community Hospital, was placed under lockdown as a precautionary measure just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday after a man believed to be armed with a rifle was initially spotted in area Amelia Street. Police later said the weapon was a pellet gun.
