UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm watch parts for some areas

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for some – but not all – local areas.
The watch has been issued for Ottawa South, Richmond and Metcalfe.

“Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, damaging hail and torrential rain.
