Update: Man killed after trying to cross Highway 417 on foot

A 22-year-old man trying to cross Hwy. 417 on foot Sunday night died after being struck by a vehicle.
Gordon Pitseolak of Pangnirtung, Nunavut, was apparently trying to run across the highway near St. Laurent Boulevard when he was struck. Police responded around 10:30 p.m.
Acting OPP Sgt. Tina Hunt confirmed another man was located and removed from the highway earlier Sunday evening, in an unrelated incident.
