UPDATE: Dramatic fire at Vars auto auction lot deemed accidental

An electrical fault is believed to be the cause of a dramatic early morning blaze at a Vars car auction yard that destroyed or damaged a dozen vehicles.
Firefighters were called to the large ADESA auction lot at 1717 Burton Rd. at about 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Six vehicles were destroyed in the fire and another six were damaged, according District Chief Todd Horricks, who tweeted from the scene.
Firefighters took about an hour to contain and control the fire.
