UPDATE: Crews retrieve body of worker from Quebec sandpit

Quebec officials say they have recovered the body of a man who was buried in a sandpit on Nov. 1.
The 31-year-old man was operating an excavator at a sandpit near Highway 105 at Farrellton when a large amount of sand slid down from the wall of the pit, burying him and his machine.
Police for MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais posted an online update at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, confirming that the body had been recovered.
