Two new Klimts for National Gallery of Canada

The National Gallery of Canada has just tripled its collection of Gustav Klimt paintings, thanks to a long-term loan from a private collection.
For almost 50 years, Canada’s only Klimt painting on display to the public has been Hope 1 (1903), the famous image of a pregnant nude woman with a mane of fuzzy orange hair. It was acquired by the National Gallery in 1970.Hope I, 1903
