Two in hospital after sustaining 'serious dog bites' Friday morning

Two people were hospitalized Friday after sustaining “serious dog bites” to their arms, according to Ottawa paramedics.
They responded to a call shortly before 11 a.m. in the Dumaurier Avenue area in southwest Ottawa.
A man in his 30s and woman in her 20s were taken to The Ottawa Hospital’s Civic campus, where they were in “serious but stable condition,” paramedics said.
According to Ottawa police, the dog was located about an hour later, just before noon.
