Two Carleton Place residents charged with drug offences

Two people face drug charges after Lanark OPP officers searched a home in Carleton Place and discovered more than 150 grams of cocaine and $1,000 in cash.
Darcy Ward, 30, and Christina Porteous, 24, both Carleton Place residents, were charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance — cocaine — for the purpose of trafficking. Ward was also charged with possession of property obtained by crime, Ontario Provincial Police said in a media release on Friday.
