Two beaches reopen on good-looking Friday, but things could turn soggy

Two city beaches reopened Friday morning, as the day dawned clear and bright.
Britannia and Westboro beaches were back in operation after being closed for the usual E. coli concerns following heavy rainstorms. Unfortunately, Mooney’s Bay and the two Petrie Island beaches remain closed.
In Gatineau, Lac-Beauchamp beach was back in operation, but Aylmer’s Parc des Cèdres Beach requires a bit more time to clear up.
Friday is expected to be mainly sunny with increasing cloudiness
