Traffic update: Westbound 417 lanes cleared 12 hours after tractor-trailer crash

Traffic was snarled on the westbound portion of Highway 417 at the Vanier Parkway most of Tuesday after a tractor trailer rolled on its side. 
Normal traffic flow resumed around 7:30 p.m.
The fire department was called to the crash at 5:38 a.m. and found that diesel fuel had spilled from the truck. Hazardous materials technicians were sent to the scene while the 61-year-old driver of the truck, who was conscious, was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
