Traffic: Rising flood water ramp up road, ferry closures

There were new road and ferry closures affecting the commute in Gatineau Thursday morning as city officials also appealed to the public to avoid flooded areas out of respect for victims and to allow first responders to do their work.
The on and off ramps of Highway 50 are closed both east and westbound at Rue Saint-Louis.
The Traversiers Bourbonnais ferries, which connects Cumberland with Masson-Angers in Gatineau,won’t be running “for an indefinite period.”
