Traffic: Colonel By closures, school zone tickets, watch for cyclists

Queensway traffic was heavy and slow from the get-go Thursday morning but don’t try to make up time in neighbourhood traffic — there are lane closures, school zones and cyclists’ safety to warn you about.
A section of the northbound lane of Colonel By Drive between the Mackenzie King and Laurier bridges will be closed on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. so heavy machinery can be delivered.
The National Capital Commission is asking motorists and pedestrians to be careful, respect working
