Tornado aftermath: Red Cross announces new aid to victims

Six weeks after the storm, the Canadian Red Cross has announced that it will distribute cash for “immediate needs” to people who registered with the agency but still have not received financial help.
Households affected by the Sept. 21 tornadoes will automatically get $600 for households of three or fewer people and $800 for households with four or more members.
