Tornado aftermath: Fundraising events this weekend and beyond

There are a host of events this weekend and beyond that are raising money and other donations for people affected by the Sept. 21 tornadoes:

Abbeyfield House, a non-profit seniors residence, is holding a fundraising garage sale from 9 a.m. to noon at 425 Parkdale Ave.
Summer Knight Cruisers car club is hosting a fundraiser Saturday at the Rideau Carleton Raceway, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public are encouraged to come to a show, bring a donation — cash and non-perishable foo
