Clear the snow before we ante up on arena
Re: Does Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk have a case of Edmonton envy? Jan. 24.
This Jan. 24 column suggested Ottawa emulate Edmonton and handing over $226 million to the Ottawa Senators for a new arena. Clever to place it between the story about police wanting a 5.1 per cent budget increase and another explaining the city doesn’t have a budget to handle an “early” snowfall.
