City should manage long-term care homes
Re: Clearly, the city can’t handle long-term care, Sept. 28
I strongly disagree with Randall Denley’s call for the City of Ottawa to get out of long-term care services. Carleton Lodge provides one of our family members with professional and compassionate care in safe and comfortable surroundings.
There is no doubt that I feel much more comfortable and at ease since our family member moved to Carleton Lodge from a for-profit long-term care home.
