Trade deal has certainly plagued us
Re: They’ve got a deal, Oct. 1.
In typically America-first fashion, the new free trade deal seems to be entitled USMCA. This is quite backwards alphabetically and gives too much precedence to the United States.
To address the alphabetic and national imbalance, it would be far better entitled CAMUS, coincidentally reminiscent of the pestilence under which two of the signatories suffer.
