Better monitoring of clinics needed
Re: ‘Quite alarming’ situation at clinic, July 18.
This is the second time I have recently heard of clinics using unclean and non-sterile medical equipment in the Ottawa area. Who is monitoring these clinics? Where are the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, the City of Ottawa, and the provincial and federal health ministers in all of this? Are there no enforcement procedures or civil, regulatory or criminal prosecution authorities in place
