I am writing on behalf of a group of wives who came together to address issues that affect people with dementia and their caregivers. Our group is called Mind the Gap and we have all been caregivers to our husbands who have, or had dementia. Some have passed away after spending their last days in a long-term care facility. The last thing any of us wanted to do was place our husbands there
