Jay Odjick’s article was excellent. It’s always been a mystery to me that someone landed on a shore, perhaps met by different-looking and speaking individuals and, because they couldn’t be understood, proclaimed them inferior so the land could be claimed for a king or queen across the ocean. What arrogance!
