We need a day without The Donald
On Saturday, my wife and I watched the funeral of John McCain on television; we then watched a series of programs that dealt with the late senator’s remarkable life and career. In short, we spent a considerable amount of time watching television. When it was all over, we both felt that the experience had been uplifting. We also felt good for a different reason: We’d actually spent a few hours without seeing or hearing Donald Trump.
Then I got an idea.
