Today's letters: Ignoring our heritage, punishing cyclists

We ignore our heritage at home
Recently, and although the Built Heritage Committee had denied it, Ottawa Council agreed to allow the current owners (Ugandan Embassy) of 231 Cobourg St., the former residence of prime minister Lester Pearson, to be demolished and replaced.
