Homeless contract raises questions
Re: Auditor general investigating city contract to house homeless families, councillor says, Jan. 7.
There seem to have been some special deals made with the owner of the Ottawa Inn for sheltering the homeless; perhaps someone at city hall should do some searches to find the best rates available. A $100 rate paid by the City of Ottawa seems rather pricey given the place is listed as a two-star with no amenities.
