Re: Obituary, Stephen Reid rose to notoriety in Stopwatch Gang, won acclaim as author, June 13.
I was really saddened to learn of the death of Stephen Reid. He would not want mythologizing as an outlaw, nor sentimentality for the choices he made. He was a complex man, full of life and compassion for others. His writing was brilliant, and anyone who wants to understand him or simply enjoy terrific writing could do no better than to read his collection of essays entitl
