Time to stop supporting North Korea’s tourism industry

Otto Warmbier, the University of Virginia student who was arrested and detained in North Korea for 17 months, died last month in a Cincinnati hospital. The 22-year old American visited the Hermit Kingdom in January of 2016 as a tourist and was found guilty of attempting to steal a propaganda poster from his hotel lobby. For his alleged sin, he was sentenced to 15 years of hard labour in one of the country’s notorious prison camps.
