Thunderstorm watch for capital region makes forecast even worse

Throw a severe thunderstorm watch onto what was already forecast to be a hot and sticky Friday with showers taking us into what may be a downright wet weekend.
Environment Canada warned Friday that conditions are ripe this afternoon and evening for “dangerous” thunderstorms that could cause torrential rain and damaging wind gusts and hail.
