Three dead in suspected fentanyl-tainted cocaine overdoses Monday

Three people died Monday in accidental overdoses involving what police suspect was fentanyl-laced cocaine.
In all, police and other responders were called to four incidents over 14 hours involving six people who had apparently taken the tainted narcotics.
Paramedics said that a man in his 20s was pronounced dead early Monday morning at a MacLaren Street apartment despite their “extensive” resuscitation efforts.
