Third flu death in Ottawa confirmed

A third Ottawa senior has died from the flu this season, according to Ottawa Public Health.
Public Health reported the deaths of two people from flu in late 2018. This week, it confirmed a third death. All three fatalities were among people over the age of 65. No other information has been released.
Last month, a three-year-old Buckingham, Que., girl died from the flu, which caused a run on influenza clinics in West Quebec.
