Thief steals idling truck, crashes during getaway: OPP

A thief who stole an Athens Township man’s idling Ford pick-up on a frigid Monday morning didn’t get far.
He crashed in the owner’s front yard, Leeds County OPP reports.
At about 5:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to Upper Oak Leaf Road where the owner had started the truck then gone back into his home. Soon after, he heard the truck drive away followed by a crash.
Cameron Chisamore, 20, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, police said. He is scheduled to appea
