When two Ottawa police constables raced to Halifax Drive to save a 60-year-old man with no vital signs Tuesday morning, it capped a dramatic week on patrol.
Const. Mohamed Mohamed, who transferred to the Ottawa Police Service in 2018 from the Toronto force, and Const. François Lapointe, were on routine patrol in the city’s east end on New Year’s Day when they were dispatched to the home.
