The Knotty Knitters ARE BACK and they're knottier than ever for Canada 150

Monetta Ayotte started knitting when she was 11 years old. It was during the Second World War and she was knitting for the Canadian army. 
“When they made the army winter jackets they didn’t put cuffs in them,” said Ayotte, 90, who was born in Vermillion, Alta.
“So they came to the school and they brought us four needles and we had to learn how to knit — that’s how I started knitting and I’ve been knitting ever since.”
