Thai embassy office project rejected by planning committee

The Royal Thai Embassy saw the planning committee reject its plan for a new office building on Island Park Drive Thursday, despite a staff recommendation that the rezoning application be accepted.
The project would see the embassy tear down its current building at 180 Island Park Dr. and construct a two-story office building in its place.
