Temporary halt of F-35 deliveries blamed on quality control problem
A quality control problem stopped delivery of the F-35 for a month.
The halt in deliveries started Sept. 21 and ended Oct. 20.
The issue centered around a primer that is used as a protective coating on aluminum fasteners. The primer is to prevent corrosion.
