Teepee erected on Parliament Hill was for ceremony, not protest, says grassroots group
A press conference about a teepee erected as a “re-occupation” of Parliament Hill Wednesday turned fractious Thursday after one of the members of the group refused to answer a reporter’s question on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s handling of indigenous issues.
“You all have blood on your hands,” she shouted at journalist Julie Van Dusen, who asked whether Trudeau’s policies were an improvement on former Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s.
