Team Lance head to Championship Saturday as frontrunners

A year ago, Mike Lance and his cousin Dan made the cut — just over the line — but even though they were only four strokes off the lead, they stood virtually no chance of winning the Quicksnap D Division of the Ottawa Sun Scramble.
A “previous engagement” prevented Mike from playing Round 2, leaving Dan to fend for himself. Left with just one ball for the second half of the two-man scramble, Team Lance finished 31 shots behind the winners, Nick Burden and Ken Lee.
