Switch out detector batteries when you fall back Sunday
Get ready to fall back.
It’s a return to Standard Time at 2 a.m. Sunday.
In March, we set our clocks ahead one hour to make for golden summer evenings. Then, in November, we switch them back to make autumn mornings extra dreary.
Celebrate by switching out your smoke and carbon-monoxide detector batteries, the ever-chipper folks at the Ottawa Fire Service suggest.
At least we get an extra hour of sleep.
