Suspect in custody following serious stabbing in Lowertown

Ottawa police said Wednesday they have arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing Tuesday night near Raphael Brunet Park shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
A 37-year-old man suffered “significant blood loss,” was treated at the scene and taken to the trauma centre where he was reported to be in serious condition.
His condition was upgraded to stable through the night.
He was found at the corner of Cumberland Street and Guigues Avenue, near Raphael Brunet Park. The park is the l
