Suspect arrested in Vanier stabbing after short chase

One man is in hospital with severe injuries after being stabbed in Vanier early Saturday morning.
His life does not appear to be in danger.
The incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. on Granville Street.
A suspect fled from the scene after police arrived but was captured after a brief pursuit in the area of Lafontaine Street, according to a press release.
OPS Central Criminal Investigations is taking lead on the case.
