Struck skunk louses up operations at Ottawa airport

A Republic Airlines passenger jet raised a stink at the Ottawa International Airport earlier this week when it struck and killed a skunk upon landing.
The twin-engine jet, inbound from from Chicago O’Hare International Airport, hit the skunk while landing Thursday night, according to the Civil Aviation Daily Occurrence Reporting System, a federal database of aviation incidents.
