Strong turnaround has Senators prospect Filip Chlapik going in right direction

The wakeup call was delivered to Filip Chlapik one year ago, and he has answered in a big way.
After last summer’s development camp, the Ottawa Senators were ready to cut ties with their 2015 second-round draft pick. Chlapik had followed up a 33-goal season in his draft year by scoring 12. His compete level was low. His habits were poor. He played on the perimeter. His overall game was undesirable.
