Spectacular Carleton Place crash becomes YouTube sensation

OPP have charged an Ottawa man with careless driving after a car smashed into a traffic light Tuesday evening in Carleton Place.
By Wednesday, a dramatic video of the vehicle weaving, then running into the ditch, striking a culvert and flying through the air  into the light standard had already racked up thousands of views on YouTube. That’s courtesy of a motorist who captured  video of the crash on the road behind him, then stopped to help.
