Specialized Russian navy ship searching for wreckage of missing Argentine sub

The Russian Navy’s Yantar ocean survey ship has been conducting a search for the wreckage of the missing Argentine submarine ARA San Juan. The vessel has been involved in the search – in support of Argentina’s navy – for the last month.
ARA San Juan, a German-built diesel-electric sub, left the port of Ushuaia on Nov. 8 on a training mission. It is believed that its 44-member crew died after an explosion on board the sub. Various navies took part in the search for the boa
