Snowmobiler in critical condition after head-on crash in Kanata South

Paramedics responded to a snowmobile collision on Old Richmond Road in south Kanata just before midnight Friday.
The paramedics treated a 32 year-old man for severe multi-system trauma as a result of a head-on collision between the snowmobile and a utility pole.
The male patient sustained significant head injuries and was treated with advanced life support care.
He was transported to the Ottawa Hospital Trauma Unit where he is listed in critical condition.
