Snaggle-toothed Beechwood suspect dripped diamonds

A suspect who mugged a man as he entered his car on Beechwood Avenue last month was memorable: he wore a gold watch with lots of diamonds and other jewelry and had “noticeably crooked” front teeth.
It was at about 7:10 p.m. on Jan. 18 when the man was accosted by the lone suspect who assaulted him and stole his wallet and ID, police said. The attack stopped when two bystanders intervened and the suspect fled southbound on St. Charles Street.
