Skeptics question JTF2 sniper claim, NDP says it shows troops in combat

The discussion continues about the claim from Canadian special forces that one of their snipers now holds a new world record for long-distance killing.
The Globe and Mail first reported the news on June 22. Citing military sources, it claimed that a JTF2 sniper “shattered the world record for the longest confirmed kill shot in military history at a staggering distance of 3,450 metres.”
The individual used a McMillan TAC-50 sniper rifle.
“It is a world record that might never be
