Six hundred pound moose trims hedges in Orlèans backyard

Around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Leona Ritchie’s neighbour told her she had a moose in her backyard.
Although skeptical, the 74-year-old found a 600-pound, one-and-a-half to two-year-old male animal staring at her.
“He was munching and crunching on my cedar hedges. I guess he was starting his day off with a salad bar,” said Ritchie, a retired nurse at CHEO.
